All four major networks aired a full schedule of reruns Thursday night. The somewhat surprising result is that CBS managed to do quite well with its mix of comedies and dramas, taking first place in total adults in every half hour of primetime — as well as first in adults 18-49 in every half hour except one, 9:00 p.m., when NBC’s The Office outscored the first half hour of CBS’s CSI: Crime Scene Investigation among younger viewers. CBS’s numbers peaked during the second half hour of The Mentalist at 10:30 p.m. (a period when many networks ordinarily lose viewers) when 10.03 million viewers tuned in. NBC moved a second episode of The Office into that time period, but it managed to attract just 2.77 million viewers.
