BIEBER TO RETURN TO CSI

In an apparent effort to raise its appeal to younger viewers during a sweeps month, CBS has signed teenage heartthrob Justin Bieber to guest star in an episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in February titled “Targets of Obsession.” Bieber is also being featured currently on the cover of the older-skewing Vanity Fair magazine. His handlers apparently believe such exposure can be mutually beneficial, since Bieber is the subject of a theatrical documentary, Never Say Never, directed by John Chu, that is due out in February. Concert footage recorded at Bieber’s appearance at Madison Square Garden last year is reportedly being intercut with home movies taken by his mother when he was a child. The trailer for the movie has already been viewed an incredible 133 million times on YouTube. (His music video for “Baby” holds the record for most YouTube views — 435 million.)
