DODD REPORTEDLY SET TO HEAD MPAA

With the political website Politico.com taking the lead, several newspapers reported today that former Connecticut Senator Christopher Dodd is likely to accept the chairmanship of the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), a job that has been open for a year, following the resignation of Dan Glickman. It pays roughly $1.25 million a year. A spokesman for Dodd declined to discuss the reports, telling the Los Angeles Times that Dodd hasn’t made any decision yet. He’s still talking to people in both the private and public sectors to figure out his next step.”
