At CBS’s upfront presentation to advertisers on Wednesday, Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer made their first appearance together since last week’s announcement that Kutcher had been selected to replace Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men. Joked Cryer to CBS programming chief Nina Tassler: “Did you have to get such a tall guy?” (Kutcher is 6’3″; Sheen is 5’9″; Cryer is 5’8″.) He suggested to Tassler that she rename the show One and Two Half Men. Kutcher, who was introduced by Tassler as an “actor, producer and social -media mogul,” (he tweets a lot), seemed thrilled to have been selected to co-star on the show for a reported $1 million per episode. “I’ve never, probably in my 13 years of show business, received more emails or calls congratulating me about getting a new job,” he said. “I almost think I won the lottery — which I kind of did.”
