Apple chief Steve Jobs on Monday unveiled the iCloud, a storage system that allows users to store music, photos, applications, documents and just about everything else they would normally keep on their computers or mobile devices in a so-called online digital locker instead. Users will then be able to access all content on any of their devices that can connect to the Internet — for free (mostly). One thing that they will not be able to access, at least for the time being, is iTunes video content. Apple reportedly is still trying to hammer out a deal with studios and other content owners to allow digital storage of movies and TV shows in the iCloud.
