NBC: LEAST-SEEN TV?

July 29, 2011 by · Leave a Comment

NBC, which once attracted 25-30 million viewers or more on Thursday nights with its Must-See TV comedy lineup and E.R., barely drew a tenth of that audience this week. Reruns of its comedies between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. averaged just 2.16 million viewers, while a repeat of Law and Order: SVU at 10:00 p.m. averaged 3.31 million. To be sure, all of those shows were reruns, but so were most of CBS’s, too. But it landed in first place for the night, drawing 7.07 million for a repeat of The Big Bang Theory and 6.14 million for The Mentalist. An all-new edition of Big Brother averaged 7 million viewers.
