It was pretty much of a wipe-out for Same Name featuring David Hasselhoff, as the reality show debuted on CBS Sunday night. It attracted just 5.27 million viewers at 9:00 p.m. Still that was good enough for first place in its time period, even though it retained only 62 percent of the audience of its lead-in, Big Brother. CBS easily won the night, thanks primarily to the veteran magazine series 60 Minutes, which was the highest-rated show of the night with 8.21 million viewers. The Jerry Seinfeld-produced The Marriage Ref on NBC was the lowest-rated show of the night with only 3.12 million viewers.
