MovieClips, which has licensed the use of thousands of key scenes from movies, said today (Wednesday) that it has signed a deal with Google to make more than 20,000 clips available via its YouTube service. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. In a statement, MovieClips co-founder, Richard Raddon said, “Our goal is to promote the discovery of movies. … By making our clips accessible on the biggest video platform on the web, we unlock the power of movie clips to promote feature film purchase and rental.”
