Director Steven Soderbergh’s Contagion is likely to knock out The Help at the box office this weekend. The disaster flick, starring Matt Damon and Gwyneth Paltrow, tops a list of four films that are opening this weekend, including the mixed-martial-arts drama Warrior, the low-budget ($10 million) Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star, and the horror film Creature. While Contagion may wind up with $25-30 million, according to box-office pundits, the other three films will be lucky to earn a third of that amount. Contagion and Warrior have each received mostly positive reviews. Bucky Larson was not screened for critics; Creature was ignored by some critics, panned by others.
