CBS’s Two and a Half Men, which had seen its ratings erode slightly each week since it opened the season as the No. 1 show on television, saw them rise again on Monday as the sitcom starring Ashton Kutcher drew 14.5 million viewers, making it the top-rated show of the night among total adults and viewers 18-49. Those numbers were up about 20 percent from the same week a year ago, when Charlie Sheen was the star. All other programs on the network saw their ratings lift significantly above last year’s numbers, including the new comedy 2 Broke Girls, whose ratings were a whopping 50-percent higher than Rules of Engagement, which occupied the 8:30 p.m. time slot a year earlier. On Tuesday, CBS again dominated with NCIS exceeding 20 million viewers for the first time this season.
