DANCING WALTZES OFF WITH RATINGS VICTORY
Dancing with the Stars’s final two broadcasts of the season landed at the top of the Neilsen ratings list for total households last week, but only one episode — Tuesday’s results show — landed on Nielsen’s separate list for adults 18-49 — at No. 8. (Each episode drew nearly identical numbers of viewers — about 19.6 million.) With 20.3 million viewers, NBC’s Sunday Night Football was the most-watched show of the week among both total adults and those 18-49 (although, in a ratings anomaly, it placed third on the households list). CBS’s Two and a Half Men returned to the upper ranks of both lists — just after football on the ratings list of younger viewers and at No. 6 on the households list. For the week, CBS topped both lists, with an overall average rating of 6.0 and a 10 share. ABC ranked second with a 5.3/9. NBC placed third with a 3.6/6, followed by Fox with a 3.2/5.
