MOVIE STARS ARE RICHEST UNDER-30’S IN U.K.

The British gossip magazine Heat has printed its annual list of the richest showbiz people under 30 in the U.K. — and young movie stars top the list, beginning with Harry Potter‘s Daniel Radcliffe. (It is the second year in a row that Radcliffe has been ranked No. 1, but then this is only the second year that Heat has published the list.) The magazine, which says that it has analyzed the deals of each of the performers on its “rich list,” figures that Radcliffe is worth $81 million. “It helps that Daniel has sound financial advice, with his parents running an entire company, Gilmore Jacobs Ltd., just to manage his sprawling wealth,” Heat observed. No. 2 on the rich list is actress Keira Knightly, with $49 million, followed by Twilight star Robert Pattinson with $39 million. Harry Potter co-stars Emma Watson, with $38 million, and Rupert Grint, with $34 million, round out the top five.
