RATINGS STRENGTHEN FOR TWO AND A HALF MEN

Ratings for CBS’s Two and a Half Men jumped back to where they were after Ashton Kutcher took over from Charlie Sheen at the beginning of the season. Monday’s episode drew the best ratings of any show of the night as 15.7 million viewers tuned in. It was the best performance for the sitcom since October 10, according to a CBS press release. Mike & Molly, which followed, also posted big numbers. Its 13.1 million total adults represented the best performance for that show since October 3. Meanwhile, NBC, which ordinarily draws relatively strong ratings for its Dateline magazine show, is repeatedly seeing dismal results for its new magazine, Rock Center with Brian Williams. After last week’s episode hit a series low, this week’s episode fell 18 percent below even that one.
