REPORT: HOWARD STERN TO JOIN AMERICA’S GOT TALENT

Seeming to be courting controversy, the producers of America’s Got Talent are in “serious negotiations” to replace Piers Morgan with Howard Stern as a judge on the talent contest, the Wall Street Journal reported today (Friday), citing people close to the situation. Morgan announced earlier this week that he was quitting AGT in order to devote full time to his CNN interview show. The Journal reported that Stern has not only been offered $15 million a year to join the show but has been assured that the network will move it to New York — at a further cost of $10 million — so that Stern can continue broadcasting his radio show from that city.
