The night before Thanksgiving usually attracts some of the lowest midweek ratings of the entire regular season, and Wednesday was no exception. ABC’s Modern Family, the network’s highest-rated scripted show, lost 20 percent of its audience, a season low. (With 12.6 million viewers, however, it remained the top-rated show of the night and also gave ABC an overall win in primetime.) Another season low was posted by Fox’s The X Factor, which saw 19 percent of its audience depart. Even NBC, whose ratings are so low that they don’t have too much farther to fall, saw its new comedy Up All Night lose 21 percent of its audience from last week.
