NO NEW TALKS SCHEDULED IN MSG-TIME WARNER CABLE DISPUTE
The dispute between the MSG cable network and the Time Warner Cable company is not following the script laid out by most other similar disputes. Ordinarily they are resolved a few days before the contract deadline or within a few hours after one side of the other pulls the plug. MSG carries the New York Knicks’ basketball games and the New York Rangers’ hockey games. But viewers in parts of New York City and upstate New York who subscribe to Time Warner Cable have not been able to see the games since the channel went dark on the cable provider at midnight, January 1. No new talks between MSG and Time Warner Cable have been scheduled.
