IMMORTALS DEBUTS AT NO. 1 ON HOME VIDEO CHART

Puss and Boots were meant for walking last week, as the DreamWorks Animation feature, scampered from No. 1 — where it had taken up residence for two weeks — down to No. 5, as new releases took over the top four spots. Twentieth Century Fox’s Immortals landed at No. 1, according to Nielsen VideoScan First Alert. Somewhat surprisingly, HBO’s Game of Thrones: The Complete First Season, which carries a pricetag of $60, came at No. 2. The Paramount remake of Footloose, which had a mediocre run in theaters with only $52 million in ticket sales, came in at No. 3. The Adam Sandler comedy Jack and Jill, which tallied $74 million in ticket sales (one of Sandler’s few films that did not cross the $100-million mark), placed fourth on the sales chart.
