DICK CLARK DEAD OF HEART ATTACK

Dick Clark, the host of American Bandstand from 1957 to 1989 and the producer of countless television shows and specials including the annual Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, the American Music Awards, and the Golden Globe Awards, has died at age 82. Initial reports indicated that he suffered a massive heart attack after undergoing surgery Tuesday night for an undisclosed condition.
