O’REILLY RENEWS FEUD WITH THE SIMPSONS

Fox News commentator Bill O’Reilly has renewed his battle with The Simpsons after the long-running animated series concluded a Fox 25th Anniversary special on Fox Sunday with a closing title card reading, “Congratulations FOX on 25 years. We still love you. This doesn’t include Fox News.” The Simpsons has tweaked Fox News during most of its existence. It once suggested that a slogan for the news channel should be, “Fox News: Not Racist, but #1 with Racists.” Last year O’Reilly criticized Fox officials for “allowing its cartoon characters to run wild.” On Tuesday, O’Reilly referred to the latest incident as a “cheap shot,” adding, “How predictable.”
