At the age of 22, Kristen Stewart has already become the highest-paid actress in Hollywood, according to Forbes magazine. The business biweekly said that with $34.5 million in earnings (mostly from the Twilight movies, but also from Snow White and the Huntsman), Stewart banked more money than any other female performer in Hollywood between May 2011 and May 2012, . No. 2 on the list — and only slightly behind with $34 million — was Cameron Diaz, who cashed in on a lucrative backend deal for Bad Teacher, which cost only $20 million to make but took in $216 million at the box office. On the other hand No. 3 on the list, Sandra Bullock, wound up with $25 million mostly presumably from an upfront fee for her most recent film, Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, which earned just $32 million at the box office. Angelina Jolie, who topped the Forbes list last year, came in at No. 4 with $20 million, even though she did not have a movie out during the May-to-May period. “Even when she’s not starring in a big studio flick, Jolie still earns millions from residuals and endorsement deals,” Forbes observed. Rounding out the top five, with $18 million, was Charlize Theron, who pocketed fees for Young Adult, Snow White and the Huntsman and Prometheus.
