Just two weeks after 14.7 million viewers in the U.K. tuned in to the queen’s Jubilee concert on the BBC, making it the most-watched television program of the year, rival ITV reported that 16.1 million watched its coverage of the Euro 2012 soccer match between England and Ukraine on Tuesday. That number represented a 57 share. Meanwhile, the French cable channel M6 drew its second-best ratings ever for its coverage of the France vs. Sweden match when 12.2 million viewers, representing a 44.5 share, tuned in.
