The National League trounced the American League 8-0 to win Tuesday night’s All-Star game — and Fox, which carried the game, did the same to most of its rivals as the telecast drew at least 10 million viewers, according to Nielsen overnight ratings. That figure, like those for all live sporting events, is expected to grow when final national results are announced. Ratings for the game virtually tied NBC’s top summer hit America’s Got Talent, which were up 17 percent from last week’s Tuesday installment. Meanwhile, ABC’s medical documentary series, NY Med, produced by Terence Wrong, debuted against the All Star Game in the 10:00 p.m. hour and attracted 5.41 million viewers, beating the competition on NBC and CBS.
