CELEBRITY SCANDAL HITS SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN SEQUEL

The impact of a celebrity scandal on film production once again became apparent on Wednesday as reports emerged that Rupert Sanders will likely not direct the sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman. Sanders’s wife, Liberty Ross, reportedly is insisting that he not sign a contract for the sequel if he wants to save his marriage. The report follows widespread reports in the celebrity press and gossip websites that Sanders had been having an affair with Kristen Stewart, who starred in the film. Quoting an unnamed source, RadarOnline reported on Wednesday that Ross “just doesn’t want him to ever work with Kristen again.” The source added: “Rupert is obviously disappointed because Snow White and the Huntsman was his directorial debut, and he had hoped on building on that with a follow-up after some decent reviews. But he knows his actions were inexcusable, and he’s going to have to bite the bullet and listen to his wife on this one.”
