An analysis of this week’s network ratings has revealed a startling outcome: NBC beat its rivals on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday in the key 18-49 demographic group — the first time it has won three nights in a row since the week of Nov. 12-14, 2003. Especially startling was the network’s lead on Tuesday night opposite CBS’s dominating NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles. CBS was No. 1 among total viewers, but another strong performance by NBC’s The Voice gave the network the lead among younger viewers. Last week’s ratings figures also had NBC on top among 18-49-year-olds for the second week of the two-week-old season. That was also the first time that the peacock network has produced that outcome since 2003. (It wound up in a tie for the lead with ABC during the first two weeks of 2007.)
