A snap survey by the Pew Research Center has indicated that most Americans — 56 percent –watched last week’s first presidential debate between Mitt Romney and Barack Obama on television live. Of those, 10 percent were two-screen viewers, watching the coverage on a computer or mobile device while the debate was being broadcast. “This would include those who were following on social media, as well as those searching the web or blogs about the debate while the debate was going on,” a Pew spokesperson told Broadcasting & Cable magazine. Only 3 percent said that they watched it live exclusively online.
