WALKING DEAD WALKS BACK TO DISH NETWORK

October 22, 2012 by · 1 Comment

AMC and its Cablevision sibling networks will be returning to the DISH satellite network following the settlement of a breach-of-contract lawsuit by Cablevision against DISH over the now-defunct Voom HD service. Cablevision had sued DISH for more than $2.5 billion after DISH dropped the service. The settlement calls for DISH to pay Cablevision $700 million and comes after AMC’s The Walking Dead attracted a record 10.9 million viewers a week ago, the most to watch a basic-cable scripted drama ever.

Isn’t this a bit of old news? I’d say almost 12 hours or so AMC has been back on dish. Good news absolutely, I’m just hoping they don’t gave to hike up their prices.
