ANGUS T JONES TO RETURN TO SHOW HE URGED VIEWERS NOT TO WATCH

He has still not retracted his comments that the show in which he stars is “filth” and that viewers shouldn’t watch it, but CBS President Nina Tassler told TV critics on Saturday that 19-year-old actor Angus T. Jones will return to Two and a Half Men (he’s the “Half”) when the series resumes production this week. Jones has apologized to the cast and crew for his remarks, saying he meant no disrespect. What remains up in the air is his status for next season. For that matter, the status of all three stars — Jones, Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer — is up in the air, since their contracts expire at the end of this season. Tassler said that Jones will be welcomed back if he decides to return. “He apologized and we’ve moved on,” Tassler told the TV critics. “The kid is 19 years old. I’ve got a 24-year-old. Between the ages of 19 and 24, there’s been plenty of things my kid has said that I wish he hadn’t. The bottom line is cooler heads prevailed.” Meanwhile, Forbes magazine is reporting that Jones, who earns $350,000 per episode, has a net worth of $15 million.
