AMERICA’S GOT TALENT RATINGS PLUNGE — STILL NO. 1

NBC’s America’s Got Talent tied its season low Tuesday night, but with an average of 8.54 million viewers between 9:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., it was still the highest-rated show of the night. Earlier in the evening, the 8:00 edition of CBS’s NCIS, a rerun, came close with 7.97 million viewers. A rerun of spin-off NCIS: Los Angeles attracted 5.38 million viewers at 9:00 and was the third-highest-rated show of the night. But Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance dropped 7 percent from last week to 3.88 million viewers, and ABC’s Extreme Weight Loss fell about an equal amount to 3.55 million viewers.
