The CBS summer drama Under the Dome remained the most-watched television show of the week last week. With 11.12 million total viewers, it was also the only TV show what exceeded 10 million viewers, although with 9.85 million, second-place America’s Got Talent (Wednesday) on NBC came close. Among the key 18-49 age group, ABC drew top honors as its Saturday-night telecast of the Georgia-Clemson football match drew the biggest audience for a college-football season opener in seven years — 8.1 million. But Spanish-language Univision was No. 1 overall among that group and also No. 1 among the 18-34 demo. The last full week of NBC Nightly News without Brian Williams remained No. 1 with an average of 7.62 million viewers, again coming in ahead of ABC World News with Diane Sawyer with 7.10 million. The CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley improved with 6.32 million viewers. Overall, CBS averaged a 3.6 household rating for the week and a 6 share. ABC placed second with a 2.8/5. NBC was close behind with a 2.5/4, followed by Fox with a 1.7/3.
