There has still not been any confirmation of the title for the upcoming Batman vs. Superman movie set to star Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck in the title roles. However, a clue to the titles being considered by Warner Bros. for the Zack Snyder-directed tentpole may be found in the domain registrations that were disclosed by comingsoon.net today (Thursday). According to the website, the studio secretly registered eight domain names via the “brand protection company” MarkMonitor. They include: Man of Steel Battle the Knight, Man of Steel Beyond Darkness, Man of Steel Black of Knight, Man of Steel Darkness Falls, Man of Steel Knight Falls, Man of Steel Shadow of the Night, Man of Steel The Blackest Hour, and Man of Steel The Darkness Within. Coming Soon said that the title being buzzed about most favorably by fans is World’s Finest while others simply favor Batman vs. Superman. There’s plenty of time to make the decision; the film is not scheduled to premiere until July 17, 2015.
