THOR TO DROP IN ON AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

In an apparent effort to regain some of the viewers who have left the audience ranks of ABC’s Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. by the millions in recent weeks, producers of the superhero drama have worked elements of Thor: The Dark World into the plot of this week’s episode, which airs tonight (Tuesday), the Los Angeles Times reported today. A steady exodus of viewers, many of them complaining that the show has become more of a traditional TV procedural than a reimagined drama based on the Marvel comic book series, has taken place since the show debuted with more than 12 million viewers; last week’s episode averaged 6.6 milion. But Steve Symington at TheMotleyFool.com pointed out today that the show has more than doubled ABC’s delivery of 18-49-year-old viewers in its Tuesday hour and finished first among men 18-49.
