Following word that Jerry Bruckheimer’s company will be leaving Disney and moving to Paramount now comes word that Brad Pitt’s production company, Plan B, will be leaving Paramount and moving onto the 20th Century Fox lot, where Pitt now has a first-look deal with New Regency and RatPac Entertainment, who are partners in the deal. But it’s not a simple game of musical chairs. Pitt will continue to have a relationship with Paramount, where a sequel to Pitt’s World War Z is in the works. But its next production True Story, starring Jonah Hill and James Franco, is being co-produced by New Regency. Bruckheimer has a deal with Disney to produce the next Pirates of the Caribbean sequel.
