It only drew 3.66 million total viewers on Friday, but Discovery Channel’s Gold Rush was nevertheless the most-watched show among men 18-49 in all of television, broadcast included, the channel boasted in a press release on Tuesday. In fact, the channel said, the show has achieved that No. 1 ranking in the demo for three consecutive weeks. It was also the No. 1 show on cable in both 25-54 men and 18-49 men for the past six weeks. Meanwhile, on Tuesday night NBC’s The Voice continued to dominate among the 18-49 age group with a 3.3 rating and a 9 share in that demo. The two-hour telecast averaged 11.89 million viewers. A rerun of CBS’s NCIS drew more, 12.37 million, but that show scored only a 1.6/5 among the younger demo.
