HALLMARK HALL OF FAME: GET OUT THE SYMPATHY CARDS

December 2, 2013 by · Leave a Comment

Coming at a time when the Hallmark Cards people are grappling with the realities of the digital age, the ratings results for the latest Hallmark Hall of Fame special, “Christmas in Conway,” must have given executives of the company little holiday cheer. The drama, which received a relatively warm reception from TV critics, averaged just 6.45 million viewers and a dreadful 1.1 rating and a 3 share among adults 18-49 on Sunday night. The No. 1 show for the night, incidentally, was not Sunday Night Football on NBC, which averaged 15.51 million viewers, but CBS’s 60 Minutes. Aided by a football runover, which preceded it, the venerable news magazine averaged 16.14 million viewers and a 3.4/8 rating/share in the 18-49 demo.HALLMARK HALL OF FAME: GET OUT THE SYMPATHY CARDS
