SEINFELD RENEWED! (FOR HIS ONLINE SERIES)

Jerry Seinfeld will be picking up more comedians in his collection of classic cars and driving them to coffee shops to shmooze in front of TV cameras for his online series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. In announcing that it was backing a new six-episode season, Eric Berger, head of Sony’s Crackle.com, said, “Jerry Seinfeld pioneered a new approach to unscripted storytelling with ‘Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee’ and his vision garnered record-breaking viewership on Crackle. … We are thrilled to be bringing more highly anticipated episodes to every television, computer and mobile device for today’s connected audience.” Crackle released a teaser-trailer for the series on Thursday showing a car while the voices of the comedians appearing in the third season of the series are heard. “See if you can guess the voices of the third season cast,” said a statement by Crackle. “Full guest lineup will be announced next week.”
