HANNITY THREATENS TO LEAVE NEW YORK

Fox News may have to find a new home for conservative commentator Sean Hannity. On his radio show Monday night Hannity responded to comments from New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, who made these comments during an interview with WCNY’s Susan Arbetter: “Who are they? Are they these extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay? Is that who they are? Because if that’s who they are and if they are the extreme conservatives, they have no place in the state of New York, because that’s not who New Yorkers are.” Hannity shot back: “Now I want to tell you something — I was born and raised in New York. I want you to know that and I can’t wait to get out of here. I really can’t.” He said he was considering moving to Florida or Texas. Later, in an interview with colleague Greta Van Susteren, Hannity retreated a bit. “I think people might have interpreted it that I’m leaving the next day,” Hannity told Van Susteren. “If I could I probably would, but I like to consider myself a responsible person.” He noted that between his radio and TV gigs “probably over 100 people” rely on him for their livelihoods.
