INTELLIGENCE TEST ON MONDAYS FAILS

CBS’s hopes of rescuing Intelligence, its critically praised action series starring Josh Holloway, the former Lost co-star, by moving it to 10:00 p.m. on Monday night following its high-rated comedy lineup appears doomed. In its debut in the time period last week, it averaged just 6.1 million viewers. This week that number dropped to 5.6 million, well behind the nearly 9 million viewers for each of its broadcast competitors, ABC’s Castle and NBC’s The Blacklist. That also brought down CBS’s overall numbers for the night. Cancellation appeared to be inevitable. NBC, meanwhile, continued to struggle as it usually does at this time of year without The Voice on its schedule. A two-hour Hollywood Game Night attracted just 4.5 million viewers, dropping it to fourth place for the night and lending no support to its hit series the Blacklist at 10:00 p.m., which dropped to a series low of 8.7 million viewers. On Fox, a two-hour season finale of Sleepy Hollow drew 4.7 million viewers.
