PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS GRAVITATE TOWARD BULLOCK

Sandra Bullock came away with four wins at the 40th annual People’s Choice Awards Wednesday night — three of them in the dramatic categories for her performance in the space thriller Gravity and one in the comedy category for The Heat. She also shared the favorite movie duo award with her Gravity co-star George Clooney. The film itself was named favorite drama movie, and The Heat was named favorite comedy movie. The overall favorite movie of the year, according to the awards voters, was Iron Man 3, which also won favorite action movie and brought Robert Downey Jr. an award as favorite action movie star. Adam Sandler won the favorite comedy actor award for Grown Ups 2 — his fourth consecutive award in that category.
