TARANTINO SCRAPS PLANS TO FILM THE HATEFUL EIGHT AFTER LEAK

Quentin Tarantino has exploded in a lengthy denunciation of the agents for Michael Madsen and Bruce Dern, one of which, he has concluded, leaked the script for The Hateful Eight, which, reports had said, would be his next film. “I gave it to six people, and apparently it’s gotten out today,” he told Deadline.com on Tuesday. Tarantino said that he was so angered over the leak that he has decided not to make the movie. “I’m going to publish it, and that’s it for now. I give it out to six people, and if I can’t trust them to that degree, then I have no desire to make it. I’ll publish it. I’m done. I’ll move on to the next thing. I’ve got 10 more where that came from.” Tarantino said that he hoped that his decision to shelve the movie would discourage others from leaking information about movies that he plans to make in the future. His script for Django Unchained was also leaked before the movie was released.
