WILL ADAM SANDLER TAKE THE PRIZE FOR WORST ACTOR AGAIN?

The day before the Oscar nominations for the best films of 2013 are due to be announced, the Razzies nominations for worst films of 2013 have been released. As usual the Razzies showered Adam Sandler with particular scorn, giving his movie, Grown Ups 2, eight nominations, including worst picture, sequel, ensemble, screenplay, lead actor (for Sandler), supporting actor (Taylor Lautner), supporting actress (Salma Hayek) and director (Dennis Dugan). That was no record for a Sandler movie, however. In 2011, his Jack and Jill actually won 10 awards, including Worst Actor and Worst Actress (both for Sandler). He was named worst actor last year for That’s My Boy. Other nominees for worst movie this year are The Lone Ranger, Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas, After Earth and Movie 43. Winners are due to be announced on March 1, the night before the Oscars.
