Overseas, there was just no overtaking Disney’s Frozen, which grossed an additional $24 million from 47 markets, bringing its overseas total to $545.1 million. After crossing the $900-million mark internationally, it now ranks as the fourth highest-grossing animated film globally. Coming in second was China’s The Monkey King, which added $21.5 million to its total — all of it from China, where it has now grossed $118 million. Opening overseas a week before its North American debut, MGM and Columbia Pictures’ Robocop earned an estimated $20.2 million. Rounding out the top five overseas were The Wolf of Wall Street with $19 million and The Lego Movie with $13.3 million.
