JACKMAN TO RETURN AS HOST OF TONYS

Australian actor Hugh Jackman, best known for his role as the X-Men’s Wolverine character, will return as host of the Tony Awards on June 8, the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing, which oversee the awards, announced today (Wednesday). Jackman hosted the Broadway awards ceremony three years in a row from 2003 to 2005 and won an Emmy for his work on the 2004 special. He also picked up a Tony himself on that broadcast for his performance in The Boy from Oz.
