KIMMEL, LETTERMAN AND O’BRIEN TO VIE AGAINST LENO IN FINAL DAYS

Jay Leno’s late-night competitors are not throwing in the towel during Jay Leno’s final days on the Tonight show. The Hollywood Reporter noted that Jimmy Kimmel will reunite with his “nemesis,” Matt Damon, who veritably hijacked Kimmel’s ABC show a year ago. Also appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! will be George Clooney. On Late Show with David Letterman guests will include The Flaming Lips with Sean Lennon. And Conan O’Brien, who took over the Tonight show from Leno in 2009, only to be relieved of his new job a few months later, expects to bring together the stars of AMC’s hit The Walking Dead ahead of the show’s season return. It will reportedly mark the first time the Dead stars have ever been interviewed together on a late-night talk show. On Monday Leno’ equaled his best ratings in four years.
