60 MINUTES IS SUNDAY’S MOST-WATCHED SHOW

Helped by a strong 12-minute overrun of the Masters golf tournament, CBS’s 60 Minutes easily captured the crown as the most-watched television show Sunday night. The episode, which featured a report on the one-year anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombing and a combative interview with the Reverend Al Sharpton, drew 11.01 million viewers — up 38 percent from a week ago. The show, which ordinarily captures a predominantly older audience, was also No. 1 among the 18-49 age group on Sunday. The solid results for 60 Minutes also help CBS capture every half-hour during primetime Sunday night.
