Ride Along, the low-budget buddy comedy starring Ice Cube and Kevin Hart that almost every critic hated but which grossed $134 million domestically after it was released in January, was the most pirated movie of last week, according to, which tracks BitTorrent usage. The movie is due to be released in retail stores next Tuesday. Coming in second was the animated The Nut Job, which earned $63 million (a dismal result, most analysts concluded). It’s also scheduled to be released on DVD and Blu-ray Disc a week from today (April 15). Other films in the top five, according to the online publication, include The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (at No. 3) 47 RonIn (4), and The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (5).
