Disney’s Frozen remained No. 1 on the home video sales charts for last week, its fifth nonconsecutive week at the head of the pack on both the DVD and Blu-ray Disc charts. Over the past month, it has fallen off the top position only once — during its second week, when The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug debuted as No. 1. Meanwhile, Lionsgate release the home video version of Tyler Perry’s play Madea’s Neighbors from Hell and watched it soar to No. 2 on the Nielsen VideoScan First Alert sales charge. Slipping to third place on the list was Universal’s Ride Along comedy starring Ice Cube and Kevin Hart. Warner’s The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug came in at No. 4, followed by 20th Century Fox’s comedy, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, starring Ben Stiller. On Home Media magazine’s rental chart, Universal’s Homefront moved into first place after coming in second last week. Warner’s Grudge Match, which topped the list last week, slipped to No. 2 this week. Fox’s Walking with Dinosaurs: The Movie debuted on the rental list in third place.
