Godzilla will rise and roar at the nation’s theaters again this weekend and in the process collect around $70 million, box-office analysts are predicting. It’s the umpteenth time the creature has emerged from the deep since first making his debut 60 years ago, and 16 years since his hulking Hollywood mutation was overseen by director Roland Emmerich. The new film will benefit from mostly positive reviews and little competition. In its third weekend, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which had already fallen to second place last week, was expected to drop to third with only $17 million. Neighbors, which brought it down a week ago, was expected to drop around 50 percent itself this weekend to $25 million. Million Dollar Arm, the only other film debuting in wide release, will likely place fourth with around $10-12 million, forecasters are saying.
