CBS’s NCIS and its companion, NCIS Los Angeles, delivered a one-two punch to top last week’s Nielsen ratings as the most-viewed shows of the week. Among the advertiser-prized 18-49 age group, however, they ranked only ninth and twelfth respectively. The most-watched show in that demo was CBS’s The Big Bang Theory, followed by the Monday edition of NBC’s The Voice. The evening newscasts lined up the usual way with NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams on top with 8.2 million viewers, followed by ABC World News with Diane Sawyer with 7.4 million viewers. The CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley once again finished last with 6.3 million viewers. For the week overall, CBS landed on top with a 5.4 average rating and a 9 share. ABC placed second with a 4.1/7 (it ranked first among the 18-49 demo). NBC followed in third place with a 3.5/6, while Fox trailed with a 2.9/5.
