Hillary Clinton will “take questions from the American public with nothing off limits” during a town hall event to be moderated by CNN’s Christiane Amanpour on June 17 at 5:00 p.m., the cable network said today (Tuesday). While CNN said that the event, to air from the Newseum in Washington, will focus on Clinton’s recently published memoir, Hard Choices, the questioning is also expected to revolve around Clinton’s role in the Benghazi attack, an issue she will no doubt address in detail in her book. The town hall discussion is due to take place one week after the book goes on sale. Following the CNN telecast, Clinton is due to appear on Fox News on the same evening with Greta Van Susteren and Bret Baier. She also has scheduled interviews on June 9 with Diane Sawyer, on June 10th with Robin Roberts on ABC’s Good Morning America and on the same day with NBC’s Cynthia McFadden.
