The actor whose (unrecognizable) face appears on billboards and other ads for The Purge: Anarchy claims he was never told that he would be used for that purpose — and he wants to get paid. In an interview with TMZ, the actor, Emmanuel Howell, said that in the movie, he has a "small role" as part of a group of skateboarders who "terrorize people." But, he told the gossip website, he has "no idea" how he became the face of a national ad campaign. "One day I was walking down the street and I see a billboard of myself up there and I’m like, ‘Whoa, that’s me." He said he called the production company and asked whether he would receive any "special compensation" for that. "They told me that I should be flattered by it. … They offered me some posters … but no compensation." He says he’s hoping that the company will reconsider and say, "Let’s feed him a couple of thousand dollars — or something!"
